Upper Canada Golf Course, voted in 1999 the #1 public course in Central and Eastern Ontario by a reader survey in the Southern Ontario Golf Directory, offers a challenging game of golf in a picturesque setting. Designed by renowned architect Robbie Robinson, the course's more than 6900 yards of play is ideal for avid golfers and beginners alike.

Ideal for Tournaments
Upper Canada Golf Course caters to tournaments of all sizes. Groups of 16 to 144 and more can enjoy a quality game on the greens. Three practice areas for long game, short game and putting allow golfers pre-game benefits.

Full Restaurant Services
On-site indoor and outdoor dining facilities provide a spacious setting for a range of menu offerings, custom-prepared by the course's own dedicated restaurant staff. All complemented by a licensed bar in the lounge and refreshment carts on the course. Sample menus can be provided for your consideration. Pro Shop on Site
Friendly staff are always available at the Pro shop to ensure all your needs are taken care of. The Pro Shop also provides a selection of quality merchandise, offered at special prices for tournament prizes. Choose from a selection of Upper Canada Golf Course's own line of clothing and golf accessories such as bag tags, golf towels, hats, and more.

Upper Canada Golf Course staff can assist you with all your tournament needs, from free scoring services to complimentary golf clinics (subject to availability) prior to your tournament. Our dedicated staff's attention to detail and excellent customer service will ensure your tournament at Upper Canada is a success.

TOURNAMENT POLICY


Tournament Bookings
(Monday to Friday - Excluding Holidays)

  • First Tee Time
    • Over 80 players - 11:00 A.M.
    • Under 80 players - 12:00 P.M.
  • Tournament designation is a group of 16 or more players.
  • Tournaments cannot be booked unless a deposit of $3 per person is forwarded to the Upper Canada Golf Course.
  • Should the player list differ from the confirmation sheet, without advanced notice (minimum of eight days), the charge shall reflect the original number of players or whichever number is greater.
  • All players must have an individual set of golf clubs and bag. Rentals available.
  • Alcohol cannot be brought onto the golf course. A beverage cart provides both alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • The person(s) organizing the golf tournament is/are responsible for paying the remaining amount upon arrival.
  • The pro shop requires a typed or printed list of all players eight days prior to the event.
  • All tournament play will be from the white blocks, unless authorized by the Pro Shop.
  • A maximum of 4-1/2 hours playing time will be allowed per group.
  • For all new golfers, a double par rule applies.
  • The tournament organizer will be held accountable for any or all damages to the golf course, rentals, golf carts or clubhouse and for the conduct of his/her group.
  • Rules of golf and standards and etiquette apply at all times.

"No Exception" Dress Code
(in effect at all times)

  • Soft spikes are mandatory (no metal spikes in golf shoes).
  • No heeled shoes, boots or baseball type spikes.
  • No cut-offs or gym shorts. No tank tops or tube tops. No jeans.
  • Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times.
  • All clothing must be in good condition.

Food Service Policy

  • Tournament organizers can arrange for
    • snack services at the 10th tee
    • snack services on the course, OR
    • meals before or after the tournament
  • Groups will be charged for the number of meals confirmed eight days prior to the date of the tournament.
  • Meals will be paid for with a separate cheque made payable to the food services operator on the day of the tournament.
