This is the final hole - #18 The 18th hole is a pretty finishing hole measuring 353 yards that plays uphill to the green. This hole is framed by sand traps on either side, a pond to the right, and a large old Willow tree just beyond the tee leaving the golfer with a classic memory of an old parkland golf course. After a successful tee shot, you are left with an uphill mid to short iron second shot into this well bunkered, back to front sloping. How will Jamie finish his round? This is Hole #17 After playing the last five holes, it is almost a relief to play this 341 yard dog-leg right par 4. This hole has a large fairway with a sand trap on the left side. A left to right shaped shot is desired leaving a tricky shot to this humped back green. A nice tee-off allowed Jamie a fair approach, but he'll live to regret that putt!

This is Hole 16 On the surface, this 377 yard hole appears to be mundane. However, her bite is worse than her bark. This hole is surrounded by trees, and a hazard that cuts diagonally across the fairway 140 yards from the green. An accurate tee shot is required to land short of the 150 yard markers leaving a slightly uphill second shot to this two tiered green. Jamie opted for a 3 wood off the tee (preference) and was able to grab a par on the tricky green. Jamie score is currently?

This is Hole #15 Fifteen is a charming 141 yard par 3. The green is tricky, and is completely surrounded by four bunkers and the Aultsville Creek. What makes this hole so interesting is the angle your approach shot must enter the green. If your mid to short iron shot comes off just right, a high soft shot lands in the centre of the green and should allow you to make par. If you miss your shot, you are sure to find lots of trouble.

This is Our Signature Hole #14 The crowning jewel of Upper Canada is the 547 yard par 5 fourteenth affectionately known as "The Monster". It is by far the most picturesque hole on the course. The trees to the right side stretch the entire length of the hole. The lovely Aultsville Creek guards the left side all the way to the green. The best alternative is to use a fairway wood or long iron from the tee to lay up short of the water inlet. The second shot is the key to determining your success or failure. Using the same fairway wood or long iron, you must avoid the tree which stands on the right side of the fairway at the 200 yard mark from the green. If you are successful, you are left with a mid iron approach to the smallest green on the course. All things considered, this is a terrifying hole. You can hear from the sound of the driver that Jamie was able to get a great distance off the tee. He then used a nice layup shot to avoid the creek and was able to capture a birdie with an even better approach.

This is #13 This is a short yet deceptively difficult 108 yard par 3. In the immortal words of Jack Nicklaus; "Beware of the short holes". This hole is a relatively simple short iron shot. However, if you let your guard down, you are liable to find the bunkers surrounding the green or the hazard.
