40th Anniversary Digital Photo Contest

We invite you to capture the beautiful maturity of Upper Canada Golf Course in its 40th Anniversary year through our commemorative digital photo contest. The contest will begin August 8, 2006 and continue throughout the fall season when the fairways are ablaze with colour, and end September 30, 2006. Green fee package prizes will be awarded to the top photos from the following two categories:

Category 1: Golf
This image can include any image representative of the enjoyment of the sport of golf.

Category 2: Scenery
We are looking for the image that defines the scenic beauty for which Upper Canada Golf Course is known.

Photographs sent to us should fit into one of these categories.

Photos will be judged on originality, composition, colour and clarity, and how well they reflect the categories.

Winning photos and some honourable mentions will be posted on the Upper Canada Golf Course web site in early December 2006.

Rules:
1) Participants must observe rules of golf etiquette and safety while on the course and must maintain an acceptable speed of play.
2) All participants are subject to applicable green fees.
3) The higher the resolution of the photos, the better (ideally, 300 dpi jpegs).
Photos can be e-mailed to getaway@parks.on.ca with the subject heading “Upper Canada Golf Course Photo Contest.” However, if you have a digital image that is over 2 megs in size, please send it to us on a CD through regular mail to:
