Golf Digest rates Upper Canada a 4 STAR Course

In the latest edition of Fodor’s “Golf Digest’s Places to Play”, Upper Canada Golf Course rates as one of only two “Good Value” rated courses in Ontario. This category is comprised of 150 courses across North America in terms of value as rated by Golf Digest readers. Upper Canada Golf Course continues to be the one and only four star rated course in Eastern Ontario. St. Lawrence Parks Commission Chairman Peter Watson commended staff on this significant achievement stating that ”only seven other courses in Ontario, including Niagara’s Legends and Whirlpool, have been rated a four-star golf destination.” According to Golf Digest this rating is explained as “Outstanding. Plan your next vacation around it”. Included in the four star listing are Golf Digest’s “reader comments”. These comments included “great greens…classic design with outstanding variety of holes…par number 4 and smile for a week.”
